Understanding rice processors' financing needs

Rice-livelihoods fieldwork consulted processors and financial institutions about credit needs and risks.

· Kampong Thom

CIRD's rice-livelihoods project team visited BRM and AMRU rice processors in Santuk and Prasat Ballang districts, followed by meetings with Woori Bank and AMK Microfinance.

The work examined processors' credit needs and risks to inform an assessment report. It brought production, processing and financial-service perspectives into the same inquiry.
