Learning the practical requirements for quality rice seed

CIRD participated as a project implementation partner in training on the Quality Declared Seed system.

· Kampong Thom

Provincial agriculture and national seed authorities organised the workshop with cooperatives, seed and rice-sector actors and project partners. CIRD joined as an implementation partner.

The session covered seed classes, field inspection, preparing and storing seed, sampling and the documents needed to work under the Quality Declared Seed system. These practical steps connect production with the information and checks required for credible seed supply.
