The International Finance Corporation organised training of trainers for the CIRD rice project team under its Agribusiness Leadership Programme.
The four modules covered tracking a business, understanding its records, using money carefully and planning for the future. Developing facilitators' skills is part of preparing practical support for farmers and producer organisations.
2019–2025 assignment; training continued in 2026
Work in 2026CIRD worked with the International Finance Corporation, rice mills and producer organisations on Sustainable Rice Platform practices, quality seed, farm records, business skills and supply relationships. Sustainable Rice Platform is a rice-production standard and performance framework.
