Savings groups review progress and agree their next steps
GRET and CIRD worked with savings-group committees and local institutions on reflection and annual planning.
· Siem Reap
GRET and CIRD worked with committees from 16 savings groups, representatives of three commune councils and the provincial rural-development department. The meeting had 42 participants, including 28 women.
Participants reviewed their 2025 work, discussed challenges and lessons, and agreed strategies for 2026. Groups and the project signed cooperation agreements. The process connected reflection with clear responsibilities and a practical next plan.
Territories Committed to Agroecological Transition, Resilience and Sustainable Food connects farming, agricultural cooperatives, savings groups and local public planning. CIRD works with GRET and local partners on practical organisational support and review.
