CIRD at work
CIRD organised training for lead farmers and producer organisations on rice standards and internal management systems.

The Battambang training brought together 37 participants, including nine women, from lead-farmer and producer-organisation groups in four provinces.
The session covered the Sustainable Rice Platform framework and internal management systems. These systems organise the responsibilities, records and checks used by groups working to meet agreed production requirements.

Work in 2026CIRD worked with the International Finance Corporation, rice mills and producer organisations on Sustainable Rice Platform practices, quality seed, farm records, business skills and supply relationships. Sustainable Rice Platform is a rice-production standard and performance framework.
